Job summary

Quickline in the United Kingdom is seeking an Installation Engineer to connect rural communities to superfast broadband. You will install and commission customer premises equipment, ensuring high quality outcomes.

You will liaise with customers about routes, capture installation photos for records, and maintain safety standards. A full driving licence is required; DBS check may be required. Benefits include pension, health cashback, and paid leave.

• Maintain a high quality standard of installation both internally and externally at our customers premises.
• Liaise with customers regarding the intended installation route and how the finished installation will look.
• Manage a safe working environment considering Health & Safety at all times.
• Carry out installation surveys competently and consider all options to deliver service.
• Document all installed equipment information and capture images of the installation for infrastructure records, support team use and our quality process.
• Provide excellent levels of customer communications and strive to exceed expectations.

Here’s why you’ll be great in this role…

• You have experience in a similar role - Ideally with an understanding of FTTP and FWA connections.
• You are comfortable working at heights, climbing ladders is no problem for you.
• Customer care comes second nature to you.
• You have a full clean driving licence and can successfully pass a DBS check.
