Quickline Communications is seeking a NOC Engineer to monitor and manage our next-generation hybrid network from the Willerby office. You will rapidly respond to incidents, outages and alarms while managing problem/change processes and ensuring network security across sites and cabinets.

The role requires hands-on experience in network switching, VLANs, subnetting, routing protocols, and familiarity with monitoring tools like SONAR or Zabbix.

Formación

• Experience as a NOC Engineer or similar role.
• Knowledge of network switching, VLANs, subnetting and routing protocols.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools and incident management.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor and manage the Quickline infrastructure, radio and 5G networks.
• Respond rapidly to issues, outages and alarms.
• Manage change and problem records; maintain RCA and RFO documentation.
• Oversee network security including site access, street cabinets and secure locations.
• Produce incident reports and provide timely updates on network health.

This role is based onsite at our Willerby Office.

Here's why you'll be great in this role...

• Experience working as a NOC Engineer or a Similar Role
• Experience in Network switching, FWA 5Ghz, VLANS, Subnetting and Routing Protocols
• Comfortable Working in a Fast-Paced Network Environment
• Excellent systems, Microsoft packages working knowledge. Skills with a Critical Eye for Attention to Detail
• Experience of Working on RCA's and RFO's
• Working Knowledge of SONAR and Zabbix preferred but not essential
