Job summary

Quickline is seeking a Head of HSEQ to lead our health, safety, environment and quality strategy across the business. You’ll shape policy, drive excellence and embed best practice, partnering with senior leaders to safeguard people and assets.

You’ll own ISO 45001 and ISO 9001 systems, oversee audits and investigations, mentor the HSEQ team and champion continuous improvement in a busy, telecoms/infra environment in the UK.

Qualifications

• Senior HSEQ leadership in telecoms, infra, utilities or complex operations.
• NEBOSH Diploma (Level 6) with IOSH and UK safety legislation.
• Proven team leadership and stakeholder influence.
• Experience with ISO 45001 and ISO 9001 audits.
• Strong communication, analytics and decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Lead HSEQ across Quickline and drive strategic improvements.
• Own and continually improve ISO 45001 and ISO 9001 systems, ensuring compliance and audit readiness.
• Oversee risk-based assurance activities, audits, inspections and incident investigations.
• Lead and develop the HSEQ team, promoting a proactive culture of safety and continuous improvement.
• Partner with senior leaders and external stakeholders to provide governance on HSEQ performance and risk.

• Lead Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) across Quickline, driving strategic improvements and embedding best practice throughout the business.
• Own and continually improve our certified management systems, including ISO 45001 and ISO 9001, ensuring compliance, audit readiness and operational effectiveness.

• Partner with senior leaders, operational teams and external stakeholders to provide expert advice, governance and assurance on HSEQ performance and risk.

Here’s why you’ll be great in this role…

• Significant senior HSEQ or Health & Safety leadership experience within telecommunications, infrastructure, utilities, construction or another operationally complex environment.
• NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent Level 6 qualification) with IOSH membership and strong knowledge of UK health and safety legislation.
• Proven experience leading professional teams and influencing stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership.
• Strong experience managing ISO 45001 management systems, with a good understanding of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems and audit processes.
• Excellent communication, analytical and decision-making skills, with the ability to balance operational priorities with robust HSEQ standards.
