ATL Transport is seeking a hands-on Team Leader for nights on a 4 on 4 off roster in the East Midlands. You will lead a busy warehouse floor, ensuring smooth operation and timely handovers between shifts.

The role emphasizes people management, coaching, and resolving issues to keep performance on track. Ideal candidates will have proven experience in warehouse or logistics environments, strong HR process knowledge, and the ability to onboard and develop agency staff while maintaining clear

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing people in a warehouse, logistics, or fast-paced environment.
• Confident handling HR processes including return to work, absence management and investigations.
• Strong organisational skills to manage staff and tasks under pressure during busy periods.
• Excellent communication to prevent tasks slipping between shifts.
• Fair onboarding and development of new team members, including agency staff.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations during your shift from start to finish.
• Support your team to hit productivity and efficiency targets, shift after shift.
• Plan staffing levels around overtime, absences, and seasonal peaks.
• Assign tasks and monitor performance against goals.
• Ensure robust shift handovers between teams.
• Lead Return to Work meetings with fairness.
• Conduct investigations and participate in disciplinary processes.
• Deliver full inductions for new starters including agency staff.
