Job summary

GXO Doncaster at Trax Park is recruiting a Warehouse Operative for the Howdens contract. You will be responsible for preparing and completing warehouse orders, sorting items, loading/unloading vehicles, and performing stock checks to ensure accurate, on-time deliveries.

The role is full-time and permanent, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 22:00 to 06:00, with a salary around £30,980.60 including night shift premium and benefits including holiday pay and extensive training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Warehouse experience and understanding of inventory processes.
• Counterbalance experience and licence is an advantage.
• Team player with a 'one team' mindset.
• Flexible and adaptable to varied tasks and locations.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and completing warehouse orders for delivery according to schedule.
• Sorting and placing materials on to racks.
• Assisting with the loading/unloading vehicles and completing associated paperwork.
• Stock counting and location checks.
• Completing admin tasks using management systems.
• Working to a high standard of accuracy and productivity in all tasks.
