Job summary

Evri is recruiting a Night Shift Supervisor at the Bury St Edmunds Depot to lead a busy night operation and direct a team of up to 50 colleagues, setting clear priorities to keep deliveries moving through the night.

You'll coach, develop and drive performance, ensuring Night Shift SLAs are met while complying with site HSES rules and collaborating with peers across the depot.

The role requires hands-on leadership, decisive actions and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading and motivating a team in a busy operation.
• Background in fast-paced logistics environments.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage priorities.
• Strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
• Proficient with MS Office is a plus.
• Knowledge of Transport Regulations is advantageous.

We're looking for an experienced and motivated Night Shift Supervisor to join our Bury St Edmunds Depot and help keep our operation moving through the night.

The role

As our Night Shift Supervisor, you'll be at the heart of a busy, fast-paced operation. You'll lead a team of up to 50 colleagues, setting clear priorities, driving performance and making sure we deliver for our customers.

Our Night Shift operates Sunday to Friday, working any 5 days.

This is a role for someone who enjoys taking ownership, solving problems and getting the best from people. You'll need to think on your feet, make confident decisions and work collaboratively with colleagues across the depot.

What you'll be doing

You'll be responsible for:

• Leading and providing direction to a team of up to 50 direct reports

What we're looking for

You'll be a confident people leader who can remain focused when the pressure is on.

Ideally, you'll bring:

• Previous management experience leading and motivating a team

• Experience within a fast-paced logistics environment, although relevant experience from other sectors is also welcomed

• The ability to use your own initiative and deliver against tight deadlines

• Strong organisational and prioritisation skills

• Good PC skills, including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office

• An understanding of Transport Regulations would be an advantage

• A collaborative approach with the confidence to take the lead when needed
