Job summary

Evri is hiring a Night Shift Supervisor for the Pen Y Bont Depot. You will lead a team of up to 50 colleagues, setting priorities, driving performance and ensuring night-time operations run smoothly to meet customer expectations.

The role requires ownership, problem-solving and the ability to make confident decisions while collaborating with depot colleagues to keep the operation moving through the night.

Qualifications

• Must have prior management experience leading and motivating a team.
• Experience in a fast-paced logistics environment is preferred.
• Ability to take initiative and deliver against tight deadlines.
• Strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
• Good PC skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of Transport Regulations would be an advantage.

We're looking for an experienced and motivated Night Shift Supervisor to join our Pen Y Bont Depot and help keep our operation moving through the night.

The role

As our Night Shift Supervisor, you'll be at the heart of a busy, fast-paced operation. You'll lead a team of up to 50 colleagues, setting clear priorities, driving performance and making sure we deliver for our customers.

Our Night shift typically operates 5 days over 7 starting around 22:00, although finish times can vary depending on parcel volumes.

This is a role for someone who enjoys taking ownership, solving problems and getting the best from people. You'll need to think on your feet, make confident decisions and work collaboratively with colleagues across the depot.

What you'll be doing

You'll be responsible for:

What we're looking for

You'll be a confident people leader who can remain focused when the pressure is on.

Ideally, you'll bring:

• Previous management experience leading and motivating a team
• Experience within a fast-paced logistics environment, although relevant experience from other sectors is also welcomed
• The ability to use your own initiative and deliver against tight deadlines
• Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
• Good PC skills, including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• An understanding of Transport Regulations would be an advantage
• A collaborative approach with the confidence to take the lead when needed
