Job summary

Sainsbury’s Group is seeking an Overnight Nightshift Manager to lead a team during night hours, oversee replenishment, organise warehouse tasks and prioritise deliveries. You will be responsible for the full shift, ensuring safety and wellbeing of colleagues and that standards are ready for service in the morning.

The role is full-time, working 22:00–08:00 over 4 nights, with a £4,500 premium on top of the base salary. Experience in fast-paced operations and people management is essential.

Qualifications

• Nightshift leadership experience in an operational environment.
• Strong people management, coaching and disciplinaries handling.
• Proven ability to meet KPIs across sales, availability and customer engagement.

Responsibilities

• Oversee overnight replenishment and store operations, prioritising deliveries and organising warehouse tasks.
• Lead a nightshift team alone when needed, ensuring safety and wellbeing of colleagues.
• Coach and develop staff, monitor performance, and conduct disciplinaries where required.
• Ensure high standards of store readiness by morning and consistent customer service.
