Job summary

Sainsbury's is seeking a Customer and Trading Manager for nightshift at our Wakefield store. The role leads overnight replenishment, coordinates deliveries, and ensures a smooth start for the day.

It is a full-time, permanent position with a £31,700 base salary plus a £4,500 premium, located at Wakefield Marsh Way Store. The ideal candidate will have strong people management skills, experience in KPI tracking, and the ability to operate effectively during night hours to support safe, efficient

Qualifications

• Previous line management responsibilities in a fast-paced, operational environment.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Experience delivering and monitoring KPIs or other performance indicators.

Responsibilities

• Leading a team overnight to deliver all replenishment activities across the store while prioritising deliveries and organising the warehouse.
• Often run a full store operation overnight, responsible for the full shift and the safety and wellbeing of colleagues.
• Ensure standards are excellent by morning to ready the store for customers.
• Manage performance, disciplinary issues, scheduling and pay for team members.
