Volvo Group is recruiting for a night shift HGV technician in West Thurrock. You will work 4x10.5 hour nights, earning £30 per hour and about £62,400 per year with overtime paid at time and a half.

Experience with main dealer standards, HGV diagnostics, and EV technology is preferred. Training and progression plans are offered within a global brand.

Qualifications

• HGV Technician Level 3 qualifications or equivalent.
• Excellent diagnostic skills.
• Proven HGV experience.
• Main dealer experience.
• Exposure to EV & next-generation vehicle technology.

Responsabilités

• Diagnose and repair HGV vehicles to main dealer standards.
• Operate diagnostic tools and battery/electric drivetrain systems.
• Support training and career progression within Renault Trucks/Volvo Group.

What you will do

Renault Trucks in West Thurrock is introducing a NIghtshift to cope with customer demand and we are offering a great basic rate of £30 per hour . We are looking to start 3 technicians to start earning £62,400 per year with overtime paid at time and a half

Working 40 hours on a fixed 4 day shift, Tuesday to Friday, 4 x 10.5 hours 8.00pm to 06.30 (30 min break)

The preferred candidate will have experience of working to main dealer standards to attarct the top rate of pay. However, we will consider experienced HGV technicians with computer aided diagnostics skills with all round HGV experience to compliment our Essex team.

Skills and abilities:

• HGV Technician Level 3 qualifications or equivalent
• Excellent diagnostic skills
• Proven HGV experience
• Main dealer experience
• an individual training and development plan with exposure to EV & next-generation vehicle technology

• Pro rata of 25 days plus BH’s rising to 30 days with service
