Job summary

Renault Trucks is seeking an HGV Technician Supervisor for the late shift. The role entails supervising shift technicians, coordinating workload, and performing diagnostic and repair work on vehicles.

You will also service vehicles, participate in a call-out rota when needed, and ensure accurate job cards. The position requires C&G or NVQ3 Vehicle Technician qualification, strong electrical/diagnostic/mechanical skills, and a good grasp of workshop H&S.

Qualifications

• Must have C&G or NVQ3 Vehicle Technician qualification.
• Excellent electrical, diagnostic and mechanical skills.
• Good understanding of H&S issues in a workshop environment.
• Clean driving licence with HGV advantage.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the shift technicians and coordinate workload.
• Liaise with the Dealerpoint Manager regarding shift staff and KPI tracking.
• Diagnose and repair vehicles to high standards.
• Service vehicles to a high standard.
• Participate in call-out and breakdown rota as required.
• Use diagnostic equipment to fault-find.
• Carry out scheduled safety inspections and report rectifications.
• Complete job cards clearly and accurately.

What You Will Do

HGV Technician Supervisor Late Shift

Hours

40 hours 15.30 to midnight with a 30 min break with alternate Saturday's paid at time and a half

Paying up to £27.50

pr for a 40 hour basic week,(£57,200) and with alternate Saturday's (£5300) you can earn c£60,500

Key Responsibilities & Tasks

• Supervise the shift technicians and co-ordinate workload
• Liaise with the Dealerpoint Manager regarding shift staff, training needs, KPI's etc
• Diagnosis and repair of vehicles
• Servicing of vehicles to a high standard
• Participation in call out and breakdown rota - if/when required
• Ability to use diagnostic equipment
• Carry out scheduled safety inspections and report any rectifications required
• Complete job cards clearly and accurately

Essential Qualifications And Knowledge

• C&G or NVQ3 Vehicle Technician qualification
• Excellent electrical, diagnostic and mechanical skills
