Job summary

Volvo Group is hiring skilled HGV Technicians for the London Heathrow area. The role offers excellent pay with a £2,000 joining bonus payable after 6 months, and generous overtime opportunities.

You will work rotating day shifts with optional Saturday overtime, and be part of a world-renowned brand investing in training and career development. • Diagnose faults and carry out necessary repairs.

£2,000 JOINING BONUS! (direct applicants payable after 6 months service)

Salary: £22 to £26 per hour – plenty of overtime available Saturday @ up to £39 per hour!!

Working a rotating shift;

Monday to Friday
Rotating shift: 0600hrs to 1430hrs/1430hrs to 2300hrs
Optional Saturdays @ overtime rate 0700hrs to 1300hrs (overtime @ time and a half - up to £31.50 per hour)

What will you bring?

• Fully qualified HGV Technician (City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
• Experience working with HGVs or commercial vehicles.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• A team player with a proactive attitude.

If you have previously worked as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic, Heavy Goods Vehicle Mechanic, or Commercial Vehicle Technician, your skills are highly relevant to this role. We also value transferable expertise from allied industries; candidates with backgrounds as a PSV Technician, PCV Mechanic, Bus and Coach Technician, or a Heavy Plant Mechanic / Plant Technician are strongly encouraged to apply, as full product training on our modern fleet will be provided.
