Volvo Group is seeking an experienced HGV Technician to join our team in the UK. You will carry out repairs to a high standard, diagnose faults, service customer vehicles, and conduct road tests where qualified.

The role includes paperwork, defect reporting, and maintaining workshop equipment, with opportunities to mentor trainees. The position offers a rotating shift pattern with an early finish Fridays, competitive salary with bonus and extensive benefits.

Formación

• A Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance.
• Previous experience working on HGVs or completing an apprenticeship in the HGV industry.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out repairs to a high standard according to Volvo procedures, safely and responsibly.
• Assist in the fault diagnosis process.
• Service Customer Vehicles and complete service sheets.
• Road test vehicles when required (if you hold an HGV license).
• Assist with roadside breakdowns.
• Process all relevant paperwork relating to jobs accurately.
• Ensure all vehicle defects are reported.
• Keep all workshop facilities, equipment, and tools clean, tidy and well maintained.
• Help us in supporting the development of trainees and apprentices.

Shifts: Monday to Friday (21.00 - 07.00)

What you'll do

Experience & Qualifications Required

• Previous experience working on HGV’s or have you completed anapprenticeshipin the HGV industry
