Job summary

Severn Hospice Limited is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to cover night shifts within our community team in Shropshire, Telford and Mid-Wales. You will provide compassionate palliative care at patients' homes, working within a multidisciplinary team and liaising with GPs and community professionals to ensure safe, dignified care.

The role requires confidence to work solo at night and a commitment to compassionate, person-centred care. Interviews are scheduled for late November.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with current NMC registration.
• Experience in community or palliative care preferred.
• Able to work independently at night in patients' homes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, holistic nursing care to patients in their homes during night shifts.
• Conduct assessments, manage symptoms, and provide timely clinical interventions.
• Coordinate with GPs and community teams to ensure safe, patient-centred care.
