Marie Curie Hospice is seeking a Healthcare Assistant to provide compassionate, person-centred care within a community-based setting covering Staffordshire and Stoke. You will work across two shifts, including nights, with focus on supporting patients and families during end-of-life care.

The role requires sensitivity, resilience and ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team, with training and ongoing support provided.

Qualifications

• Recent experience of providing care in a health or social care setting.
• Understanding of person-centred care, and palliative/end-of-life care.
• Ability to communicate sensitively and professionally.
• NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care is desirable but not essential.
• Driving license with access to a vehicle and willingness to travel up to 25 miles from home, including unsocial hours.
