Job summary

Avery Healthcare is seeking a warm, enthusiastic Senior Care Assistant - Nights to join Aire View Cre Home in Leeds. You will support the care team to deliver high standards of personal care in a safe, inclusive environment for residents, visitors and staff.

You will monitor wellbeing, assist with care plans, support residents with medication, and participate in staff supervision. DBS check and eligibility to work in the UK are required.

Qualifications

• NVQ 3 or equivalent in care for care homes.
• 2 years’ experience in a similar care environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Positive attitude to supporting and nurturing residents and staff.
• Be responsive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the wellbeing of each resident and update care plans accordingly.
• Contribute to person-centred care planning with monthly evaluations.
• Support residents with medication requirements.
• Undertake staff supervisions and support staff development.
• Act as key contact for residents, relatives, visitors and health professionals.
