Job summary

Avery Healthcare Group is hiring a Care Assistant for Aire View Care Home in Leeds. You will deliver high standards of personal care, support the care team to ensure continuity of services for residents, and uphold dignity and respect in all interactions.

No previous experience is required as a comprehensive induction and training programme is provided to build confidence in your role. You will demonstrate care, compassion, and accountability every day.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Demonstrate initiative and be respectful toward residents and staff.
• Efficient worker who can follow instructions from the team.
• Adaptive and flexible to cover a range of duties on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal hygiene to maintain independence, dignity, and respect.
• Recognise clinical risk areas (weight loss, pressure sores, falls, infections) and escalate promptly.
• Interact courteously with residents and visitors, upholding dignity of each person.
• Follow safe systems of work across all tasks.
