Job summary

The Best Connection are seeking Night shift Production Operatives to join our busy client in Chichester on a permanent basis. You will work on a production line, packing fresh produce, loading lines and assisting with boxing finished products while maintaining quality standards.

The role runs 6pm–6am in a 4-on/3-off pattern. Pay starts at £13.26 per hour and rises to £14.26 per hour from 21:30. You will follow health and safety guidelines and work well both on your own and in a team.

• Working along a production line, packing fresh produce
• Loading the production lines
• Working on the end of production lines to box and pack finished products
• Changing over machines and operating them safely and efficiently
• Working within the warehouse to assist with packing and palletising
• Quality checking the fresh produce to ensure standards are met
• Reading labels to follow instructions
• Ensuring the area is clean and tidy, free from rubbish, and compliant with Food Hygiene requirements
• Adhering to health and safety guidelines

Who is the person;

• Previous experience working within a chilled environment desirable
• Able to work in shift patterns
• Method of transport is advised, due to remote location of site
• Must be able to work on your own initiative and part of a team
• Ability to interpret products and customer requirements

Successful candidates are required to work in accordance with all health and safety procedures and company policies, from the beginning of the process, through to the final product.

The working hours are 6pm - 6am, in a shift pattern of 4 nights on, 3 nights off (4 on / 3 off)

The hourly pay rate is £13.26 per hour, increasing to £14.26 per hour from 2130.
