Job summary

The Best Connection Group Limited is recruiting night shift production operatives for a busy Chichester site. You will work on a production line packing fresh produce, loading lines, and boxing finished items.

You will also handle machine changes, warehouse packing, and palletising, with emphasis on quality checks and adherence to Food Hygiene and safety rules. Ideal candidates may have experience in a chilled environment and must be able to work the 6pm–6am pattern (4 nights on, 3 off).

Responsibilities

• Operate on production line and pack fresh produce.
• Load production lines and box/pack finished products.

• Conduct quality checks to ensure standards.
• Read labels and follow instructions.

The Best Connection are currently seeking Night shift Production Operatives to work for our busy client, based in Chichester, on a permanent basis.

Duties to include, but not limited to;

• Working along a production line, packing fresh produce


• Loading the production lines


• Working on the end of production lines to box and pack finished products


• Changing over machines and operating them safely and efficiently


• Working within the warehouse to assist with packing and palletising


• Quality checking the fresh produce to ensure standards are met


• Reading labels to follow instructions


• Ensuring the area is clean and tidy, free from rubbish, and compliant with Food Hygiene requirements


• Adhering to health and safety guidelines

Who is the person;

• Previous experience working within a chilled environment desirable


• Able to work in shift patterns


• Method of transport is advised, due to remote location of site


• Must be able to work on your own initiative and part of a team


• Ability to interpret products and customer requirements

Successful candidates are required to work in accordance with all health and safety procedures and company policies, from the beginning of the process, through to the final product.

The working hours are 6pm - 6am, in a shift pattern of 4 nights on, 3 nights off (4 on / 3 off)

The hourly pay rate is £13.26 per hour, increasing to £14.26 per hour from 2130.
