The Nights Maintenance Engineer role in Wisbech, Cambridgeshire is a fantastic opportunity within a stable food manufacturing environment. You will ensure continuous running of equipment and respond to both planned maintenance and breakdowns to maximise uptime.

With a nights 4 on 4 off shift, the ideal candidate will have multi-skilled maintenance capability, electrical bias and Level 3 qualification, and experience in an industrial manufacturing setting.

Job Title: Nights Maintenance Engineer

Salary: £55,000 (OTE £60,000+)

Job Role of the Nights Maintenance Engineer.

This is an excellent role for an engineer looking to join a stable, well-established manufacturing business, working on a fast-paced site with a strong focus on reliability and engineering standards.

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for the continuous running of equipment and machinery. The successful individual will be tasked with responding to both pre-planned maintenance as well as breakdowns, ensuring maximum uptime and efficiency.

Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Nights Maintenance Engineer

• Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias
• Electrical / engineering qualification (Level 3)
• Maintenance experience within an industrial manufacturing environment

Requirements for the Nights Maintenance Engineer

• Strong fault-finding and reactive maintenance capability
• Experience carrying out PPM and planned maintenance routines
• Ability to attend breakdowns in a timely manner and work to site standards
• Exposure to industrial electrical equipment such as: single phase, three phase, motors, relays, sensors, inverters (plus hydraulics/pneumatics/gearboxes beneficial)
