Avery Healthcare is recruiting a warm, enthusiastic Care Assistant - Nights at Aldridge Care Home in Aldridge. You will deliver high standards of personal care to residents and work as part of a close-knit night shift team.

The role requires compassion, reliability, and the ability to communicate clearly with residents and colleagues. An induction and DBS check are provided, with support for training and career development.

Qualifications

• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Demonstrates initiative and is respectful to residents and colleagues.
• Efficient and able to follow instructions from the care team.
• Flexible to cover a range of duties on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high standards of personal care and support residents to maintain independence, dignity and respect.
• Recognise and address clinical risk areas such as weight loss, pressure sores, falls, and infections.
• Interact courteously with residents and visitors while upholding dignity.
• Follow safe systems of work across all tasks.
