M Group is seeking a Service Technician to join our London-based water network team. The role is a night shift, Sunday to Thursday, based at Hackney, covering sites across London and the Thames Valley, performing valve operations, responding to incidents, and helping maintain water supplies.

You will bring a valid driving licence and relevant water industry experience, with responsibilities including pressure management support, meter exchanges, and high-consequence valve checks while delivering

Qualifikationen

• Have you gained experience in a similar role within the water industry?
• Do you have experience with valve operations and water quality sampling?
• Do you hold a current driving licence? You will need to hold one to be considered for this role.

Aufgaben

• Carry out operational tasks and resolve customer issues to protect water supplies.
• Complete network valve activities with minimal disruption to supplies.
• Support pressure management maintenance and install assets at new pressure managed sites.
• Install zonal meters and district meters, including exchanges.
• Perform high-consequence valve checks on trunk mains and other valves.
• Respond to reactive requests from network colleagues and provide on-call support.
