Job summary

Lidl GB is seeking a Shift Leader to help run operations in our warehouse, leading by example and guiding daily shifts from 04:30 to 14:30. You’ll train new starters and support your team to deliver excellent teamwork.

This 40-hour per week contract offers a salary of £30,000–£37,000 with 30–35 days' holiday (pro rata), a 10% in-store discount and ongoing training to help you grow in your career at Lidl.

Responsibilities

• Line manage an amazing team, supporting development, coaching and training.
• Lead shifts for your area, monitoring colleague performance and direct reports.
• Coordinate with other Shift Leaders to ensure smooth operations across the RDC.
• Support the Department Manager with daily operations and personnel management.
• Motivate and support your team, aligning with Company Values.
• Mentor colleagues and support training.
• Promote efficient working methods and spot inefficiencies.
• Perform general warehouse duties like moving stock, picking goods and processing returns.

As a Shift Leader at Lidl, you’ll help run operations in one of our warehouses, leading by example to see the impact of what you do at the end of every day. From opening, running and closing shifts to training new starters, you’ll have plenty of chances to get stuck in and make a big impact on your colleagues. What you’ll do
