Job summary

Dx is seeking a Shift Manager to lead the daily shift operation within our warehousing environment in Ipswich. You will ensure service levels align with SLAs and KPI targets, while effectively managing the shift team to meet customer expectations.

The role requires prior experience in logistics or distribution and a proven ability to drive cost efficiency, safety, and high service standards on a fast-paced shift. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential for success.

• Experience in logistics or distribution industry.
• Experience leading or managing a team on a shift.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage warehousing operation for the shift, ensuring accurate sortation of goods.
• Ensure all activities comply with company policies and safety standards.
• Manage costs and performance of the shift.
• Lead and engage a team to deliver excellent customer service.
• Oversee performance, conduct, attendance, engagement and development of team members.
• Monitor KPIs, identify actions and communicate improvements.
• Provide shift summaries and handover records with exceptions acted.
