Job summary

GXO Logistics in Northampton is hiring three Warehouse First Line Managers to lead a high‑volume, MHE‑heavy operation. You’ll coach and develop a team of warehouse operatives, ensuring safe, accurate and efficient performance across inbound and outbound activities.

This full‑time role runs on a rotating 22:00–06:00 pattern (Sun–Thu or Mon–Fri) with a 24/7 operation as needed. Salary up to £33,850 plus a £5,000 night shift premium, plus generous benefits and pension.

Qualifications

Experience leading in a fast‑paced, high‑volume warehouse environment.
Ability to coach, develop and engage a team.
Strong knowledge of warehouse processes, MHE operations and quality standards.
Confident communication with stakeholders under pressure.
Proficiency with warehouse reporting tools and data.
Digitally minded with safety and accuracy focus.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach and develop your team to deliver safe, accurate and efficient shift performance across inbound and outbound operations.
Ensure all warehouse activity meets required standards, supporting high‑volume case picking.
Monitor and drive performance against KPIs, managing productivity, quality and service levels.
Enforce Health & Safety, compliance and SOPs on your shift.
Collaborate with planning, systems and wider teams to resolve issues and drive continuous improvement.
