Job summary

Bidfood UK is seeking a Night Shift Warehouse Operative to join our ambiant, chilled and frozen warehouse team at Bidfood, Paddock Wood. You will work Sunday to Thursday, 19:00–05:00, ensuring accurate order picking and timely preparation for delivery.

You will handle loading, stock organization and safe use of warehouse equipment while supporting drivers and keeping the operation running overnight. A strong team ethos and reliability are essential for success.

Qualifications

• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience using scanning technology is beneficial but not essential.
• Warehouse or multi-temperature experience is helpful, but not essential.
• A good level of physical fitness, as this is an active role involving regular movement and manual handling.
• Reliability and flexibility to work evening and night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Picking customer orders accurately using scanning technology
• Loading vehicles ready for delivery
• Organising and storing products safely and correctly
• Using warehouse equipment safely, with full training provided
• Moving stock using pump trucks, power pallet trucks and forklifts
• Supporting colleagues to keep the warehouse running efficiently overnight
• Helping ensure drivers leave on schedule with complete and accurate orders
