Job summary

A.F. Blakemore & Son Ltd is hiring a Warehouse Operative for the Bedford Depot night shift. You will assemble orders, pick and load goods, input weights, and follow stock rotation to ensure timely dispatch in a temperature-controlled environment.

The role requires numeracy, warehousing experience, and the ability to work in a cold setting; additional premiums apply for freezer work and FLT licenses. Company benefits include pension, training, and career development.

Qualifications

• Essential: Numerate and literate.
• Essential: Warehousing and distribution experience.
• Essential: Ability to work efficiently in a cold environment.
• Desirable: Ability to work in a freezer environment, earning an extra £1.18ph premium.
• Desirable: FLT (Reach/VNA) licence, earning an extra £0.60ph premium.
