Job summary

A.F. Blakemore & Son Ltd is recruiting for a Warehouse Operative/FLT Driver (Night Shift) at Bedford Depot. You will work 40 hours per week on a 5-out-of-7 rota including weekends, in a temperature-controlled environment. Rates start at £15.66 per hour rising to £20.04 with performance, with night shift and FLT allowances included.

Role focuses on replenishment, picking, labelling and stock control, plus light forklift duties when not operating the FLT. We offer training, benefits and pension.

Qualifications

• Numerate and literate.
• Warehousing and distribution experience.
• Ability to work efficiently in a cold environment.

Responsibilities

• Accurate replenishment of picking fixtures.
• Accurate labelling and re-labelling of bulk pallets.
• Adhere to stock rotational procedures.
• Transfer bulk stock to correct areas.
• Record stock movements in systems or documents.
• Assemble customer orders accurately.
• Load goods onto cages/pallets safely.
• Perform duties in other warehouse functions.
