Job summary

A.F. Blakemore & Son Ltd is hiring a Warehouse Operative for Bedford Depot. PM shift (2pm–10pm), 40 hours per week on a 5 out of 7 rota, including weekends.

You’ll accurately assemble customer orders, pick and load goods, and ensure correct weights are entered for dispatch in a temperature-controlled environment. Essential: numerate and literate, warehousing experience, and ability to work in a cold environment. Desirable: freezer work (extra £1.18ph) and FLT licence (extra £0.60ph).

• Essential: Numerate and literate.
• Essential: Warehousing and distribution experience.
• Essential: Ability to work efficiently in a cold environment.
• Desirable: Ability to work in a freezer environment (extra £1.18 per hour).
• Desirable: FLT (Reach/VNA) licence (extra £0.60 per hour).
