Job summary

A.F. Blakemore & Son Ltd is hiring a Warehouse Operative for night shifts at Bedford Depot. You will be part of a team ensuring accurate and efficient assembly of customer orders in a temperature-controlled environment.

Working 40 hours per week on a 5 out of 7 rota (including weekends), you will benefit from competitive pay rates depending on performance and a range of company benefits. Training and development opportunities are also available to support career progression.

Qualifications

• Numerate and literate.
• Warehousing and distribution experience.
• Ability to work efficiently in a cold environment.
• Ability to work in a freezer environment, with a premium.
• FLT (Reach/VNA) licence qualifies for premium pay.

Responsibilities

• Accurately assemble customer orders.
• Pick and load goods onto cages safely.
• Input weights correctly.
• Follow stock rotation procedures.
• Perform various warehouse duties with precision and efficiency.
• Mark and store assembled orders for dispatch.
