Job summary

The Best Connection is recruiting a Night Warehouse Operative to join our busy client in Manor Royal, Crawley, in the Warehousing and Logistics sector.

The role runs Sunday to Friday, 23:30–08:00 with a 30-minute unpaid break. Pay starts at £12.71 per hour and rises to £13.88 after 12 weeks, with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Physically fit and able to lift and handle loads regularly.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate scanning and processing.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team.
• Able to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Comprehensive understanding of Health and Safety practices.
• Previous warehouse or logistics experience is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Unloading incoming deliveries safely and efficiently.
• Scanning deliveries accurately to ensure all items are entered into the warehouse system.
• Moving items to the appropriate sections within the warehouse.
• Sorting and organising parcels and deliveries ready for further processing.
• Loading deliveries ready to be transported to the next hub or delivered to customers.
• Working efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Ensuring items are processed accurately and moved to the correct areas.
• Working closely with other team members to meet daily targets.
• Maintaining a clean and organised working environment.
• Complying with Health and Safety procedures at all times.

Hours for Night Warehouse Operative: Sunday to Friday based, with working hours generally 23:30 to 08:00, including a 30-minute unpaid break

Pay: £12.71 an hour, increasing to £13.88 an hour after 12 successful weeks
