Job summary

Winner Recruitment is seeking a Night shift Warehouse Operative. You will load and unload vehicles, sortation and scanning of parcels into cages, with shifts typically starting between 21:00 and 23:59 and finishing around 08:00, Sunday to Friday.

This Temp to Perm role offers progression after a successful period with competitive pay. The role is physically demanding with lifting up to 30/40 kg and requires reliability and good timekeeping.

• Experience unloading parcels from trailers.
• Sorting and scanning parcels with a handheld terminal.
• Lifting and handling items up to 30/40 kg.

Responsibilities

• Unloading parcels from a trailer.
• Placing parcels onto a conveyor belt.
• Scanning and sorting of parcels with handling/lifting of items of all sizes and weight.
• Working efficiently and effectively as part of a team.
• Ensure scanning with the use of the handheld terminal is completed accurately.
• Accurate completion of any relevant paperwork.
• Keeping work areas clean and tidy.
• Correctly sorting parcels into cages based on postcodes.

Job description

As a NightshiftWarehouse Operativeyou will be responsible for loading and unloading of vehicles, sortation and scanning of parcels into cages.

This is a great Temp to Permopportunity after a successful 12 weeks of service with competitive rates of pay from £13.21 per hour.

The operation is open 6 days and week from Sunday - Friday, and we can accommodate any days of work that suits you, you can choose to work part time or full time, the choice is yours, just let our friendly team know your availability on registration and we can take care of the rest to ensure this job fits in with your lifestyle.

This role is physically demanding and will involve moving parcels up to 30/40kg

An Nightshift Warehouse Operative rate of pay as follows:

• £13.21 per hour
• Shifts usually start between 21:00 - 23:59 and usually finish around 08:00 from Sunday to Friday
