Job summary

InPost Ltd. in Leeds is seeking a dynamic Warehouse Operations Supervisor (Nights) to lead our parcel sortation and warehouse activities. You will oversee daily operations, optimise processes, and develop a high-performing team to drive operational excellence.

This role requires proven leadership, experience in a logistics warehouse, and a proactive mindset to improve efficiency, safety, and KPI performance in a fast-paced UK hub.

Qualifications

• Significant leadership experience in a parcel sortation or logistics warehouse.
• Strong background in warehouse flow management and process optimisation.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to motivate a diverse team.
• Proficiency with warehouse management systems and related tools.
• FLT Counterbalance licence is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and optimise daily warehouse operations to ensure efficient execution across departments.
• Develop strategies to drive performance improvements and reduce costs.
• Collaborate with the Operations Manager to ensure accurate sorting and dispatch of parcels.
• Lead, train and inspire a high-performance warehouse team.
• Foster cross-team collaboration and maintain SOP compliance.
• Maintain health and safety focus and a safe working environment.
• Manage all aspects of the OLA shift and driver pre-/de-briefings.
• Ensure the warehouse remains clean, organized and compliant with safety standards.
• Uphold company standards and policies to maintain operational integrity.
