Job summary

InPost UK in Leeds is seeking a dynamic Warehouse Supervisor (Nights) to lead a fast-paced parcel sortation operation at Unit 3 Inpost, Stourton, Leeds LS10 1AZ.

Lead daily warehouse activities, drive operational excellence, mentor a high‑performance team, and ensure SOP adherence, safety and efficient parcel processing from intake to dispatch.

This full-time role operates Tuesday to Saturday, 09:00–17:30, with a competitive pension, life insurance, Cycle2Work and Employee Assistance Program.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in supervisory role within parcel sortation or logistics warehouse.
• Strong background in warehouse flow management and optimization of processes.
• Exceptional leadership and people management skills to motivate a diverse team.
• Excellent communication across teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Proficient in warehouse management systems and relevant technology tools.
• Ability to excel in fast-paced, high-pressure environments while maintaining accuracy.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence.
• FLT Counterbalance licence is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations and optimise activities across departments.
• Develop and implement strategies to drive performance improvements and reduce costs.
• Ensure accurate sorting, processing, and dispatching of parcels; maintain smooth flow.
• Lead, train, and inspire a high-performance warehouse team.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication.
• Enforce SOPs to ensure consistency, efficiency and quality.
• Maintain health and safety compliance and a safe working environment.
• Manage all aspects of the OLA shift for productivity and performance.
• Oversee driver pre- and de-briefings for clear communication.
• Maintain a clean, organized warehouse environment and high standards.
