Job summary

Culina Logistics is seeking a Control Room Operative at our Sherwood site for a full-time permanent role. You will coordinate and monitor warehouse processes to ensure on-time picking and dispatch. The role requires strong WMS skills, data-driven decision making and the ability to work 3 nights on 3 nights off.

Salary is £30,127 per year plus £2,402 night shift premium, with a 18:00-06:00 schedule. We offer a supportive team environment and opportunities for development within logistics.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within a warehouse environment.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Competent in verbal and numerical reasoning.
• Attention to detail/accuracy.
• Ability to work without direct supervision.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor warehouse processes to ensure loads are picked and dispatched on time.
• Use WMS to manage and adjust operations as requested by other areas.
• Allocate trailers to bays to meet departure times.
• Assist Warehouse Operatives with RDT issues.
• Use data to control the system, rectify faults and direct areas accordingly.
• Escalate issues to Technicians, Team Leaders, Shift Managers, IT or DAI as needed.
• Communicate tasks via phone or radio to staff.
• Adhere to Health & Safety rules in the working environment.
• Generate performance in line with KPI’s.
• Undertake additional warehouse duties such as picking, marshalling, cleaning, goods-in and pallet checks.
