Job summary

Culina Logistics provides integrated supply chain services for temperature-controlled products. A Control Room Operative role at our Sherwood site involves coordinating and monitoring warehouse processes to ensure loads are picked and dispatched on time, using WMS, and supporting throughput during nights.

Working hours are 3 on 3 off nights, 18:00–06:00, with duties spanning KPI-driven performance, health & safety adherence, and general warehouse tasks as directed by supervision.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within a warehouse environment.
• Able to work under pressure.
• Competent in verbal and numerical reasoning.
• Ability to work without direct supervision.
• Flexible approach to work/training.
• Thrive in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor warehouse processes to ensure loads are picked and dispatched on time.
• Use WMS for changes and updates as requested by other areas within Culina.
• Allocate trailers to bays for timely departures.
• Assist Warehouse Operatives with RDT issues.
• Use data to control the system, rectify faults and direct areas accordingly.
• Escalate issues to Technicians, Team Leaders, Shift Managers, IT and DAI.
• Communicate tasks via phone or radio to staff.
• Uphold Health & Safety rules within the working environment.
• Generate performance in line with KPI’s.
• Undertake additional warehouse duties: picking, marshalling, cleaning, goods-in and pallet checks.
