Job summary

CVS Group plc is seeking a Patient Care Assistant at Lumbry Park Veterinary Specialists to support our RVNs and Vets in delivering compassionate care to our patients and clients.

Responsibilities include nursing care, assisting clinicians, restraining animals for treatment, and handling emergencies, along with general cleaning and maintaining a safe environment. This permanent, full-time role offers a 4 on 4 off 42-hour average week and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience in animal welfare or veterinary environments preferred.
• Ability to communicate with compassion and care for patients and owners.
• Strong teamwork and reliability in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Nursing care to patients
• Assisting Clinicians and Nurses in restraining animals for treatment
• Cleaning, walking, and feeding of patients
• Preparation of emergencies
• General cleaning and maintenance duties
• Running internal lab samples
• Answering emergency calls
