Job summary

Pertemps Recruitment is recruiting a Transport Administrator to join a busy transport and warehouse operation in Marchington. This night-shift role supports daily transport, ensures accurate documentation and coordinates deliveries efficiently.

The ideal candidate has experience in administration, transport or warehouse settings, strong organisational and IT skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Night shifts are Monday to Thursday, 10:00pm–6:00am.

Qualifications

• Experience in administration, transport or warehouse preferred.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and IT skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable, flexible and proactive approach to work.
• Ability to work night shifts consistently.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to transport and warehouse teams.
• Prepare, check and maintain transport documentation and delivery records.
• Update computer systems and ensure information is accurate.
• Communicate effectively with drivers, colleagues and other departments.
• Assist with coordinating deliveries and collections.
• Respond to queries and resolve administrative issues.
• Maintain accurate records and complete paperwork correctly.
• Support the wider team to run night operations smoothly.
