Pertemps North Midlands is hiring a Transport Administrator to join a busy warehouse and transport operation in Marchington. The role involves night shifts (Mon-Thu, 10:00pm–6:00am) with a pay rate of £16.85 per hour and a temporary-to-permanent contract.

The ideal candidate will have strong administrative skills, be well organised, and able to communicate effectively with drivers and colleagues to ensure smooth nightly operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in administration, transport or warehouse environments is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to the transport and warehouse teams.
• Prepare, check and maintain transport documentation and delivery records.
• Update computer systems and ensure information is accurate and up to date.
• Communicate effectively with drivers, colleagues and other departments.
• Assist with the coordination of deliveries and collections.
• Respond to queries and help resolve any administrative issues.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure all paperwork is completed correctly.
• Support the wider team to ensure the smooth running of night operations.
