Job summary

Confidential is seeking a Night Transport Office Administrator to join its established transport operation. The role focuses on supporting night-time dispatch, paperwork, and loads tracking, in a fast-paced environment.

You will work as part of a small team with a Team Leader, ensuring drivers are dispatched efficiently and records are accurate. Night shifts require flexibility, reliability and good communication with drivers and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Strong administrative and communication skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and stay organised in a busy environment.
• Experience in transport/logistics is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the day-to-day running of night transport operations.
• Coordinating and assisting with the dispatch of drivers.
• Preparing, checking and processing transport documentation and paperwork.
• Tracking and monitoring loads, ensuring deliveries and collections progress as expected.
• Maintaining accurate records and updating internal systems.
• Communicating effectively with drivers, colleagues and other contacts.
• Responding to queries and helping resolve operational issues as they arise.
• Providing general administrative support to the transport office.
• Working collaboratively with the wider team to ensure smooth operations.
