Job summary

Interaction Recruitment is seeking a Night Transport Supervisor for a busy site in Sandy. The role covers night-time operations with a 4 on / 4 off schedule, maintaining safe and timely deliveries.

You will coordinate drivers and vehicles, respond to issues in real time, and keep the operation running smoothly. This hands-on role requires strong leadership, knowledge of driver hours, tachography, and an ability to make decisions under pressure while working closely with warehouse teams and

Qualifications

• Experience in transport, logistics or fleet operations.
• Good knowledge of drivers’ hours, WTD and tachograph compliance.
• Experience coordinating or supervising drivers.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to make decisions in a fast-moving environment.
• Proficient IT skills and experience with transport planning software.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate drivers, vehicles and routes to meet daily schedules.
• Make real-time decisions to manage delays and changes.
• Brief and debrief drivers at start and end of runs.
• Monitor routes and driver performance overnight.
• Ensure compliance with Working Time Directive and tachograph rules.
• Investigate tachograph infringements and incidents.
• Maintain transport and incident records.
• Collaborate with warehouse teams, drivers and customers.
• Monitor KPIs, SLAs and fuel efficiency.
