Job summary

Bis Henderson Recruitment is recruiting a Night Transport Coordinator to oversee night-time operations. You will plan, monitor and allocate work for drivers, ensuring on-time deliveries and compliance with regulations.

The role requires strong organisation, calm focus under pressure and solid IT skills, including Microsoft Office and transport management systems. You will liaise with drivers, customers and teams to maximise efficiency.

Qualifications

• Strong organisational and planning skills.

• Proficient IT skills including Microsoft Office and TMS.
• Knowledge of driver hours regulations and transport compliance.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and monitor vehicle movements throughout the night shift.
• Allocate work to the driving team and track deliveries to meet SLAs.
• Communicate with drivers, customers and operational teams.
• Respond to delays, breakdowns and other operational issues promptly.
• Ensure tachograph compliance and health and safety standards.
• Maintain transport documentation and update TMS records.
• Produce shift reports and handovers for the day team.
