Job summary

Pertemps Stoke on Trent is seeking a Transport Admin for the night transport operation in Stoke-on-Trent. The role focuses on ensuring smooth overnight scheduling and supporting drivers.

You will handle driver packs, pre-briefs/debriefs, data entry, and high-volume calls, contributing to safety, compliance and efficient operations.

Shifts are Sunday to Thursday, 10pm–6am, with extra Fridays during Christmas; previous transport or admin experience is beneficial, but willingness to learn is valued.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, organise and issue driver packs to ensure routes and requirements are fully documented.
• Conduct driver pre-briefs and debriefs to support safety, compliance and operational accuracy.
• Complete transport administration, including accurate data entry and record keeping.
• Handle a high volume of telephone calls to support operational coordination and customer service.
• Provide administrative and operational support to the night transport team.
• Maintain excellent health and safety standards at all times.
