Job summary

The Best Connection are recruiting a Transport Admin to join our night transport operation in Stoke-on-Trent. The role focuses on supporting drivers, keeping deliveries organised, and handling overnight transport administration.

You will issue driver packs, conduct pre- and post-briefs, perform data entry, answer a high volume of calls, and help ensure health and safety standards are met. Salary £28,325 per annum including night premium.

Qualifications

• Strong administration and communication skills.
• Experience in transport operations is beneficial.
• Willingness to learn and develop.

Responsibilities

• Preparing, organising and issuing driver packs for routes and delivery requirements.
• Conducting driver pre-briefs and debriefs for operational accuracy.
• Completing transport administration and data entry with accurate records.
• Handling a high volume of telephone calls to support drivers and colleagues.
• Providing general support to the night transport team for smooth daily operations.
• Following health and safety procedures and maintaining high compliance.
