Job summary

Pertemps Stoke on Trent is recruiting a Transport Admin for the night shift in Stoke-on-Trent. The role supports the overnight transport operation, ensuring schedules run smoothly and drivers are assisted with administrative tasks.

Offering a pay rate of £14.53 per hour, the position is temporary to permanent with a Sunday to Thursday 10:00pm–6:00am pattern. The successful candidate will help maintain safety, accuracy and efficient overnight operations.

Responsibilities

• Preparing, organising and issuing driver packs to ensure routes and requirements are fully documented.
• Conducting driver pre-briefs and debriefs to support safety, compliance and operational accuracy.
• Completing transport administration, including accurate data entry and record keeping.
• Handling a high volume of telephone calls to support operational coordination and customer service.
• Providing administrative and operational support to the night transport team.
• Maintaining excellent health and safety standards at all times.
