Job summary

DFDS is seeking a Transport Coordinator to join our busy transport operation. You will coordinate and support drivers throughout their working day, ensuring schedules run smoothly and issues are resolved quickly and effectively.

The role involves monitoring driver activity, maintaining records and systems, and responding to operational issues as they arise. You will work a 4 on 4 off shift pattern, 18:00 – 06:00.

Qualifications

• Experience in transport or logistics
• Knowledge of UK geography and drivers’ hours regulations
• Ability to remain calm under pressure
• Attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Track drivers to ensure on-time schedules.
• Support drivers with issues during shifts.
• Complete and maintain paperwork and documentation.
• Coordinate callouts for breakdowns and roadside incidents.
• Update internal systems with accurate operational data.
