Job summary

CTRG Recruitment are seeking a Transport Admin for a depot based in Barnsley. The role operates on a 4 on 4 off pattern with night shifts from 18:00 to 06:00 and pays £14.50 per hour. You will co-ordinate admin operations, input data, and ensure high levels of accuracy and professional communication with drivers and customers.

The role requires use of IT systems, adherence to company values, and willingness to take on additional tasks while maintaining excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a busy administrative or data processing role is desired but not essential.
• Knowledge on tachograph laws is desirable but not essential.
• Computer literate and proficient with IT systems.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and well organised with good time management.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Co-ordinate the transport admin operations of the depot to meet business objectives and customer needs.
• Data input and accurate administration duties.
• Communicate with internal and external customers, including driver debriefs and handling issues.
• Use IT-based systems effectively in daily tasks.
• Demonstrate the company values in performance of role.
• Undertake other reasonable tasks as required.
• Display the highest standards of customer service.
