Job summary

Mitie Group plc. is recruiting an experienced Team Leader to organise, coordinate, and oversee a cleaning services team on site. You will ensure routine cleaning tasks are delivered to plan and staff follow task schedules with safety procedures in mind.

You\'ll train staff as needed, monitor performance, and ensure compliance with EHS and GMP. The role requires strong leadership, clear communication, reliability, and the ability to work independently to maintain contractual service levels.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a cleaning team and performance reviews.
• Knowledge of EHS and GMP procedures is a plus.
• Ability to train staff on safety, task schedules and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Manage the cleaning team, performance reviews, sick leave etc.
• Ensure the cleaning work is in compliance with EHS and GMP procedures, rules and guidelines
• Distribute uniforms, monitor cleanliness, and order stocks as necessary
• Support issues professionally and refer to line manager as needed

Mitie Cleaning & Environmental Services are recruiting for an experienced and driven Team Leader to organise, coordinate, and oversee the delivery of a cleaning services team across the site. You'll be responsible for the delivery of routine planned and periodic cleaning. You will ensure that the cleaning staff understand and work to task schedules while following the correct Health & Safety procedures by providing technical training as and when required.

Main duties:

• Management of the cleaning team, performance reviews, sick leave etc.
• Ensure the cleaning work is in compliance with Environment Health and Safety (EHS) and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) procedures, rules and guidelines,
• Distribute uniforms, monitor standard of cleanliness and the use of materials and order stocks as necessary,
• Support with any issues efficiently and in a professional manner, referring to line manager where appropriate,
• Full leadership of the cleaning function and the delivery of a professional service aligned to contractual service level agreements
