Job summary

Mitie Cleaning & Environmental Services is seeking a Night Team Leader for a site-based role in Ware. You will oversee a cleaning team, coordinate daily tasks and ensure adherence to health and safety standards on site.

The role requires strong management skills, clear communication and the ability to work independently during night shifts (11pm–7am). Competitive benefits and career progression opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

Must have strong management experience and the ability to lead a cleaning team.
Excellent communication skills with internal teams and management.
Reliable, well-organised and able to work independently.
Professional attitude and proactive in delivering results.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage the cleaning team, conduct performance reviews and manage leave.
Ensure work complies with EHS and GMP requirements and provide training as needed.
Distribute uniforms, monitor cleanliness standards and stock management.
Handle issues efficiently and escalate to the line manager when required.
Take full leadership of the cleaning function and ensure service delivery meets SLAs.
