Job summary

Mitie Cleaning & Environmental Services is seeking a Night Team Leader for a site-based role in Ware. You will oversee a cleaning team, coordinate daily tasks and ensure adherence to health and safety standards on site.

The role requires strong management skills, clear communication and the ability to work independently during night shifts (11pm–7am). Competitive benefits and career progression opportunities are provided.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the cleaning team, conduct performance reviews and manage leave.
• Ensure work complies with EHS and GMP requirements and provide training as needed.
• Distribute uniforms, monitor cleanliness standards and stock management.
• Handle issues efficiently and escalate to the line manager when required.
• Take full leadership of the cleaning function and ensure service delivery meets SLAs.

ROLE: Night Team Leader

HOURS: Monday to Friday, 40 hours, 11pm - 7am

POSITION: Site Based, no travel

LOCATION: GSK - Ware - SG12 0DJ

Mitie Cleaning & Environmental Services are recruiting for an experienced and driven Team Leader to organise, coordinate, and oversee the delivery of a cleaning services team across the site.

You will be responsible for the delivery of routine planned and periodic cleaning. You will ensure that the cleaning staff understand and work to task schedules while following the correct Health & Safety procedures by providing technical training as and when required.

Main Duties

• Management of the cleaning team, performance reviews, sick leave etc.
• Ensure thecleaning work is in compliance with Environment Health and Safety (EHS) and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) procedures, rules and guidelines,
• Distribute uniforms, monitor standard of cleanliness and the use of materials and order stocks as necessary,
• Support with any issues efficiently and in a professional manner, referring to line manager where appropriate,
• Full leadership of the cleaning function and the delivery of a professional service aligned to contractual service level agreements,
